The 76th Berlin International Film Festival will open for submissions in September 2025. Berlinale is one of the world’s most prestigious and politically engaged film festivals, with programming across Competition, Panorama, Shorts, Forum, Generation, and more.

Toronto Independent Film Festival 2025 – Final Day to Submit

The festival champions micro-budget storytelling and pairs its screenings with targeted industry discussions and social events. The Sundance Sandbox Fund supports creative nonfiction projects that explore scientific ideas—including health, climate, space, AI, neuroscience, and more. The fund offers both development and production support for filmmakers, artists, and journalists working in film, series, and emerging media. Selected teams also receive access to Sundance’s creative labs, peer cohorts, and strategic mentorship.

PANO Network is celebrating its 10th anniversary by awarding 10 microgrants of $1,000 to emerging filmmakers creating short-form or early-stage film content. Grants may be used for production, pre-production, or to assemble a visual sample or proof-of-concept. In-kind support such as color grading, lighting rentals, and creative feedback may also be available.
