Travel to North American festivals is eligible for $500, and international events for $1,000. A single film can receive up to $1,500 in total.

The Film Independent Screenwriting Lab is a five-week workshop designed to support emerging writers working on a feature-length narrative script. Participants receive one-on-one mentorship, peer feedback, and industry guidance to refine their projects and navigate the film landscape.
Selected fellows will also be considered for year-round Artist Development support through Film Independent.

California Doubles Film Tax Credit to $750M
