Based in Santa Rosa, Morgan Hamilton-Lee is a filmmaker, producer, and creative connector whose journey spans over a decade of hands-on experience across nearly every facet of the industry. After launching Tricky Ink Productions in 2017 and producing over 30 shorts, a feature, and a web series, Morgan made the leap from a 9-to-5 to full-time filmmaking, shifting his focus toward producing and artist advocacy. Beyond the screen, he builds community through networking events, a new newsletter, and ongoing support for fellow creatives.

In Morgan’s Words

I've been making movies since 2012. I've worked in nearly every aspect of film, starting as an Actor/Director, and now finding my feet as a Producer & Consultant. I Produced 4 films in 2024 written and directed by women. I've made over 30 short films, a feature, and a web series, which was my debut project under my title, Tricky Ink Productions in 2017. I quit my 9-5 job last year to pursue my passion, and learn the business side of filmmaking. I became a DBA during COVID, and decided to take a backseat in directing, and focus on community building, and helping other artists tell their stories. I now host networking events, I just started a newsletter, I'm building my actor archive, and I'm getting back into writing, just to make sure I don't get rusty.
